Whats-in-Store Gives Back to My Friend’s House

20 percent donated throughout July

From The Williamson Herald

Through its What Gives Back campaign, whats-in-store www.whats-in-store.com is donating 20 percent of all jewelry and accessory purchases made online in the month of July to My Friend’s House Family and Children’s Services.

Customers simply need to enter “MFH101” when they checkout online to ensure the donation is made.

“whats-in-store has been a supporter of My Friend’s House for nearly a decade and has seen the amazing works of the staff and volunteers really change the lives of Williamson County’s youth,” said Dena Nance, owner of whats-in-store. “Alternative programs for families can restore the dreams of many but only with the monetary help of our community.”

Partnerships such as this help support My Friend’s House’s goal to build a new home for the boys it serves through a Capital Campaign to raise more than $1 million for the new facility, furnishings and to establish and endowment.

“whats-in-store has a long history of supporting local nonprofits and we are thrilled that they have selected My Friend’s House for the July promotion,” said Board President Kim Helper. “We continue to be grateful for the support we receive from business owners like Dena and our vast number of volunteers.”
