Jeff Dunn & Dana Patrick
Jeff Dunn grew up in Andalusia, Alabama playing football and baseball. He graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery in 2003 with a degree in Finance. However, do not let his diploma fool you because he is a die-hard Alabama fan. In 2008 he was recruited from Montgomery to sell medical devices in Birmingham. Then, in 2012, he moved to Nashville migrating back to a career in technology sales. Jeff now works as the VP of Growth for Dozen Software and in early 2017, founded the Nashville Executive Technology Forum. He is involved with the Big Brothers Big Sister of Middle Tennessee, is on the Board for the Miracle League of Music City and is a member of the Nashville Valley of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.
Dana Patrick grew up in Chesterville, Ohio which has a population of roughly 227. Her parents were and are extreme Ohio State football fans. One of her favorite memories from childhood is when her dad would march her and her brother and sister around the living room to complete “Script Ohio”. She attended Kent State University in pursuit of a degree in Architecture then changed majors and obtained a degree in Paralegal Studies. Dana lived in Columbus, Ohio for a year until October, 2016, when she and her two dogs - Raisin the shar-pei and Dexter the peekapoo - moved to Nashville. She now works as a litigation and investigation Paralegal for the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee.
Jeff attended Cross Point Church for nearly three years and Dana attended for a little over a year before they met in February, 2018, at a church small group. Their love for dogs, laughing and the outdoors ignited a flame that neither one expected to find. Jeff and Dana still attend Cross Point Church where Dana volunteers in the nursery.
In March, 2018, Jeff added Roman, a silver Labrador Retriever puppy to the mix. Dexter, who is 13 years old and clearly set in his ways, could not have been more annoyed about this decision. However, despite his annoyance, he has come to find that he loves Roman’s dog treats and often gets a treat by proxy. Dexter is now tolerating Roman. And Raisin has discovered that having a wolf-pack of five is a lot more fun than a wolf-pack of three.
Jeff and Dana are so excited and honored to be involved with My Friend’s House. They are looking forward to raising money and celebrating at the Mardi Gras Ball – and are hoping it is with Crowns on their heads.
