Christmas in July

As the unusual times that we are in continue, we are adjusting and adapting. In response to the increased need to come up with new and different means of caring for and entertaining the boys in our care, we thought we would explore a Christmas in July campaign.

So many of our 'Friends' and business partners help make the normal Christmas season special for the boys at My Friend's House. Because we have needs for the boys during the summer months and because some 'Friends' may be better able to play 'Santa' now rather than in December, we thought we would put together a 'wish list' for the boys this summer!
5 Large packs of Water Balloons (no water guns, please)
2 First Aid Kits
10 Beach Towels
Bath Towels - large
t-shirts in S, M, L, XL, XXL
Athletic shorts in S, M, L, XL, XXL
Bathing Suits in S, M, L, XL, XXL
Draw String Bags
Book Lights for reading at night
Cleaning Supplies / Disinfectants
Laundry Detergent/Dryer Sheets
Large Garbage Bags
Gatorade or Powerade (not energy drinks)

Body wash kit (Axe or some other brand)

Thank you for your consideration in continuing to help create a safe, home environment where the boys can continue to have fun, even in a pandemic!
Another way to spread the holiday cheer doesn't cost a thing (except a stamp) If you have some free time you can send cards or letters to our residents and even direct care staff. Please mail correspondence to 626 Eastview Circle, Franklin, TN 37064.
We have year-round needs too. If you want to donate items, such as clothing or household supplies, we have a table set-up on our front (covered) porch where items can be dropped off. We are in need of larger size clothing...XL and XXL. Many of these items can be found on our Amazon Wish/Shopping List link: Click Here

If you have any questions, please contact Laura Chambers at or call the house at 615-790-8553. Again, our address is 626 Eastview Circle in downtown Franklin.
